At this age children are ready to focus on more advanced skill development, such as passing the ball, developing control of the ball with both feet and pass ball with different parts of their foot etc.  This is part of our multi-sport classes where we coach Soccer, Basketball, rugby and racket sports.  During these classes they spend time on more advanced coordination exercises, such as learning to tip-toe, run sideways, backwards and jump on one foot. Our classes still have a major emphasis on learning in a fun and friendly environment.

At this age children are ready to focus on more advanced skill development, such as throwing and catching with one hand, different throwing styles, kicking from the hand, bouncing, dribbling etc
We also spend time on more advanced co-ordination exercises, such as learning to tip-toe, run sideways, backwards and jump on one foot.

S4K AquaTots Class (Term 2)

This class is aimed at swimmers who are becoming independent in the water, not so that they can swim completely independently, but are comfortable in the water with a parent or helper holding them. These classes are constructive sessions consisting of technical coaching, games and many laughs and jokes. The classes are run with a smaller ratio to ensure safety and progression for all.

These classes will concentrate on building the fundamentals of a good swimming stroke and apply lots of drills, practices, challenges and games to achieve successful results whilst swimming with a smile.

This Swim4kids class is aimed at swimmers who are confident in the water and have grasped the basic fundamentals of kicking, breathing and arm cycles for each competitive stroke (not necessarily butterfly arms). This level will begin to move swimmers towards FINA (swimming's governing body) approved strokes creating more efficient and powerful swimmers. Children will begin to learn competitive dives, turns and finishes at their most fundamental levels.

Learn 2 swim - S4K Level 3 (Term 2)

This is the top level of our Swim4Kids programme and is a specifically designed curriculum created with FINA (swimming’s governing body) approved strokes and give children the option of moving into a competitive swimming setup. These sessions are suitable only for children comfortable swimming 25m swims for the full duration of the session. They will concentrate on starting, turning and finishing according to FINA rules and will have a very high progression rate due to the more technical content of the sessions.
